Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing a handmade piece from Golden Elm Woodcraft. I personally pack every order to ensure your woodenware or tools arrive safely and ready for use.
1. Processing Times

Because I am a one-person workshop, I aim to process and dispatch all ready-to-ship orders within 3-5 business days.

  • Custom or Made-to-Order items: These have longer lead times as they are crafted specifically for you. I will provide an estimated dispatch date at the time of your order.

  • Class Bookings: Please note that physical tickets are not shipped; you will receive a confirmation email which serves as your booking.

2. Shipping Provider (Australia Post)

I use Australia Post for all domestic and international deliveries. You can choose from the following options at checkout:

  • Standard Post: Generally arrives within 3–7 business days (within Australia).

  • Express Post: Generally arrives within 1–3 business days (within Australia).

Please note that delivery times are estimates provided by Australia Post and may vary based on your location and seasonal demand.

3. Tracking Your Order

Once I have lodged your parcel at the post office, I will send you a shipping confirmation email containing your Australia Post tracking number. You can use this to follow your parcel’s journey directly on the Australia Post website.

4. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of your order. I do my best to keep these costs fair while ensuring your items are protected during transit.

5. Packaging

In keeping with the natural materials I work with, I strive to use sustainable, plastic-free, or recycled packaging wherever possible. I want the experience of opening your parcel to be as enjoyable as the product inside.

6. Correct Information

Please double-check your delivery address during checkout. I cannot be held responsible for items sent to an incorrect address provided at the time of purchase. If a parcel is returned to me due to an incorrect address, I will need to charge a re-delivery fee to send it out again.

7. International Shipping

I am happy to ship my work worldwide! Please be aware that international orders may be subject to local import duties and taxes. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in my shipping rates.
